These systems embed multiple sensors capable of measuring essential parameters such as pH, temperature, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and sometimes the presence of heavy metals or chemical contaminants. The data collected is transmitted via wireless networks (Wi-Fi, LoRa, GSM, etc.) to a cloud platform for processing, visualization and storage. On-board intelligence can integrate anomaly detection or prediction algorithms. Powered by renewable energy sources, these platforms are autonomous and suitable for isolated or hard-to-reach environments. They enable rapid detection of pollution or abnormal variations, facilitating decision-making. Compared with conventional laboratory sampling and analysis methods, they reduce time, costs and human intervention. These technologies have applications in agriculture, the environment, water treatment plants and distribution networks. He joined the French \u00ab\u00a0Laboratoired\u2019Analyse et d\u2019Architecture des Syst\u00e8mes\u00a0\u00bb (LAAS) from the French \u00ab\u00a0Centre National de la RechercheScientifique\u00a0\u00bb (CNRS) in 1998 and received the PhD degree from the INSAT in 2001.Since 2006, as a lecturer at LAAS, he has been working on the integration of materials for microtechnological applications as well as on the study of physical, chemical and biological microsensors. His expertise field involves the technological integration and the study of bio-electro-chemical detection\/transduction principles for the aqueous phase analysis at the microscale, aiming to health, environment and agri-business applications.
